A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE
FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND AND IN THE ADMIN TOW FEE FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2021-22 (FY21-22) budget on June 15, 2021
for the General Fund and Special Revenue Funds of the City via Resolution No. 21-073; and
WHEREAS, the City has awarded a 5 year contract services to Los Angeles Department of Animal
Care and Control (LADACC) to provide animal care and control services from July 1, 2019 (the “Effective
Date”), and expiring June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved to hire an Animal Control Officer to provide in-house
animal care and control field services on June 19, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the purchase of an Animal Control Officer vehicle on
August 3, 2021; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desire to amend the Field Service Level plan with the Los
Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control to “Limited Field Service — Mondays through Sundays,
24 hours a day -Priority 1 Calls only.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND,
DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendment(s) will be made to the City’s FY21-22 budget.

101-55-593-138-6006 - City Membership ($32,000)
101-55-593-138-6020 — Computer Expense ($10,000)
101-55-593-138-7001 — Maintenance ($6,000)
101-55-593-138-8007 — Furniture and Fixture ($15,000)
101-50-501-100-6056 Training ($71,000)
101-55-592-158-6004 - Professional Services 134,000.00
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of
this resolution attached to the FY21-22 budget on file, and effective as of March 15, 2022, the same
shall be in force and effect.
