RESOLUTION NO. 99-355 ADOPTED November 23, 1999
A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A & N MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS THE
CONTRACT TO UPGRADE THE HVAC SYSTEM AT THE FAA AFSS
BUILDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,963.00
WHEREAS, the Town of Lcesburg solicited for sealed bids for the upgrade of the HVAC
System located in the FAA AFSS building; and
WHEREAS, one proposal was received for consideration by the advertised bid
deadline; and
WHEREAS, the low responsive and responsible bidder was A & N Mechanical
Contractors; and
WHEREAS, A 8: N Mechanical Contractors' bid is $16,963.00; and
WHEREAS, the proposal submitted by A & N Mechanical Contractors is in accordance with
the bid requirements; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director and Director of Public Works have reviewed the bid and
found no irregularities; and
WHEREAS, the FAA has agreed to pay an amount not to exceed $15,000.00 for the
upgrades to the system; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director recommends that A & N Mechanical Contractors
be awarded the contract for the upgrades of thc HVAC system at the FAA AFSS building at the
Lcesburg Executive Airport.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lcesburg in Virginia as
follows:

BUILDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,963.00
The Town Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract, in a form
approved by the Town Attorney, with A & N Mechanical Contractors, in the amount of
$16,963.00 for upgrades to the HVAC System located in the FAA AFSS building at the Leesburg
Executive Airport.
