The BREWSTER AGRICULTURAL COMMISSION
Held Thursday, April 12, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.
At the Brewster Town Office Building, 2198 Main Street, Room B
Present: Peter Herrmann, Heather Mangelinkx, Dave Carlson, Stephen Brown and Jack
Latham.
Mr. Herrmann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., minutes of the March 8th, 2007
meeting were accepted and unanimously approved by the board.
Mr. Herrmann showed the response to our mailing to the farms holding barn permits. Mr.
Brown volunteered to get an updated 61A list so that we can get a mailing to them.
We then discussed how to get other farmers on board with us. Discussion about a farmers
market held on the grounds of Mr. Brown's business location - it being a good location
and extra parking at the church. Mr. Carlson suggested we contact the garden club of
Brewster. Ms Mangelinkx will contact Gretel Norgeot about the Orleans farmers market.
Mr. Hemnann handed out the new regulations for 61A.
Motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 was made by Mr. Latham, Ms Mangelinkx
'seconded all agreed.
