“Keep Leesburg Beautiful” Annual Community Clean Up and
Beautification Campaign Begins April 1st
Leesburg, VA (March 13, 2012) – The Town of
Leesburg’s annual “Keep Leesburg Beautiful”
community clean-up and beautification campaign
will begin on April 1, 2012, and will run the entire
month of April.
Residents, neighborhood and community groups,
and businesses are encouraged to participate in
Keep Leesburg Beautiful by forming teams to
collect litter, mark storm drains, replant landscaped areas along the Town’s rights-of-way or
participate in other clean-up or beautification projects. These activities can occur at any time
during the month of April. Groups and individuals interested in participating should visit the
Town of Leesburg website at www.leesburgva.gov/KLB for details about how to volunteer and
suggestions for litter collection, stream clean-up and other project locations. The Town of
Leesburg will provide safety vests, gloves and trash bags for litter collection projects.
