A RESOLUTION: ACCEPTING THE TOWN OF BLACKSBURG'S PROPOSAL
TO PARTNER AND PARTICIPATE IN THE VIRGINIA
MUNICIPAL LEAGUE'S "VIRGINIANS TO VIRGINIANS"
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Virginia Municipal League's (VML) "Virginians to Virginians"
program was established, among other things, to enhance interaction of city and town
officials, and to create an avenue by which educational ideas, information and programs
are shared and exchanged; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg received a proposal from the Town of
Blacksburg to participate as partners in VML's "Virginians to Virginians" program; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg is honored to accept this offer to partner with
the Town of Blacksburg.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized to accept the Town of Blacksburg's
proposal, on behalf of the Town of Leesburg, to partner and participate in the Virginia
Municipal League's "Virginians to Virginians" program.
