A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-
22 BUDGET IN THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES DIVISION PROPOSITION C FUND
TO ALLOCATE FUNDS THAT WERE NOT INCLUDED DURING THE PREPARATION OF
THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the City’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 budget on June 15, 2021
for the General Fund and Special Revenue Funds of the City via Resolution No. 21-073; and
WHEREAS, during the FY 2021-22 budget cycle, two accounts in the Proposition C Fund did not
reflect what was originally proposed by the Transportation Services Division; and
WHEREAS, in an effort to provide the Division with the funding necessary to support its
programs, budget appropriations are needed in the two accounts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2021-22 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND,
DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendments will be made to the City’s budget:
Account Number Program & Object Description Amount Increase
219-90-940-180-6009 Supplies $375,000.00
219-90-940-180-6010 Bus Contract $960,000.00
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of this
resolution attached to the FY 2021-22 budget on file, and effective as of December 7, 2021, the same shall be
in force and effect.
