RESCHEDULING THE COUNCIL WORKSESSIONS AND
REGULAR MEETINGS OF FEBRUARY 21 AND 22, 2000 AND
OCTOBER 9 AND 10, 2000 TO FEBRUARY 22 AND 23, 2000
AND OCTOBER 16 AND 17, 2000, RESPECTIVELY
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg will observe Presidents Day on February 21,
2000 and Columbus Day on October 9, 2000; and
WHEREAS, these holidays will conflict with the Council Work Sessions of
February 21st and October 9th; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the January 24, 2000 Council Work
Session; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council recommends rescheduling the February 21st and
October 9th Council Work Sessions to eliminate the conflict with the observation of
Presidents Day and Columbus Day.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
SECTION I. The Council Work Session of February 21st will be rescheduled to
Tuesday, February 22nd and the Council Meeting of February 22nd will be rescheduled to
Wednesday, February 23fa.
SECTION II. The Council Work Session of October 9th will be rescheduled to
Monday, October 16th and the Council Meeting of October l0th will be rescheduled to
Tuesday, October 17th.
