A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE 2021-2022 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
BUDGET TO REALLOCATE FUNDING WITHIN THE 2021-2022 ANNUAL
ACTION PLAN
WHEREAS, on April 20, 2021, the City Council approved submission of the 2021-2022 Annual
Action Plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan included allocations of $95,000.00 for the
Commercial Loans and Grants Program (Commercial Rehabilitation) and $519,949 for the Neighborhood
Pride Program (Residential Rehabilitation); and
WHEREAS, it does not appear that a commercial rehabilitation project will materialize during
the 2021-0222 program year; and
WHEREAS, there exists a substantial waiting list for the Neighborhood Pride Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval of the submission of a Substantial Amendment to the 2021-2022 Annual
Action Plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the purpose of
reallocating $95,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant funding is hereby granted.
Section 2. The following amendments shall be made to the City’s budget:

215-70-720-964-6025 Commercial Loans and Grants $95,000.00 (decrease)
215-70-720-964-6062 Neighborhood Pride Program $95,000.00 (increase)
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of
this resolution attached to the 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan budget on file, and effective as of February
15, 2022, the same shall be in force and effect.
