A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
THE FISCAL YEAR 2021/22 BUDGET IN THE TRANSPORATION DEVELOPMENT ACT
ARTICLE [Il FUND TO PURCHASE CONCRETE TRASH RECEPTACLES, TABLES, AND
CONCRETE BENCHES FOR VARIOUS CITY PARKS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2021/22 budget on June 15, 2021; and
WHEREAS, several amenities — picnic tables, barbecues, and trash receptacles - at various City
parks have outlived their useful life and need to be replaced; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority maintains the City’s
FY2017 Transportation Development Act Article III (TDA3) Fund, and has $54,893 that will lapse if not fully
spent and drawdown by June 30, 2022: and
WHEREAS, the City desires to use these TDA3 funds towards the purchase of concrete trash
receptacles; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to amend the FY 2021/22 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HERBY RESOLVE, FIND,
DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following amendments(s) will be made to the City’s Fiscal Year 2021/22 budget.

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and shall keep a copy of
this resolution attached to the Fiscal Year 2021/22 budget on file, and effective as of January 18, 2022,
the same shall be in force and effect.
