AUTHORIZING AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO AMLINER EAST, INC., IN
THE AMOUNT OF $112,900.00 FOR PHASE I OF THE SANITARY SEWER
RELINING PROJECT
WHEREAS, in response to
following bids were received:
* Amliner East, Inc. $112,900.00
* Atlantic Coast Contractors $113,500.00
* Infracorps of Virginia $129,000.00
* Miller Pipeline $141,000.00
and;
a public solicitation for bids
WHEREAS, the bids were reviewed by staff, and found to be responsive to the bid request and
within project estimates; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Utility Fund to fund this project; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Utilities recommends awarding a contract to Amliner East, Inc., in the
amount of $112,900 for this relining project.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Amliner East, Inc., in the amount
of $112,900 for Phase I of the Sanitary Sewer Relining project.
