AUTHORIZING AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO CONEWAGO
ENTERPRISES, INC.; IN THE AMOUNT OF $398,742.00 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOSPITAL TANK PUMPING STATION.
WHEREAS, the FY00 Capital Improvements Program includes a project for construction
of the Hospital Tank Pumping Station; and
WHEREAS, in response to a public solicitation for bids for construction of the Hospital
Tank Pumping Station project, the following bids were received:

ENGINEER' S ESTIMATE
and;
$502,000.00
WHEREAS, the bids were reviewed by our consulting engineer, Black & Veatch, and
found to be responsive to the advertised bid request and within project estimates for construction;
and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been appropriated by Council in the Utility Fund to fund
this project; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Utilities recommends award of a contract to Conewago
Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $398,742.00 for construction of this project.

ENTERPRISES, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $398,742.00 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOSPITAL TANK PUMPING STATION
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The town manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Conewago Enterprises,
Inc., in the amount of $398,742.00 for construction of the Hospital Tank Pumping Station.
