A RESOLUTION: RECEIVING THE DMG-MAXIMUS MANAGEMENT STUDY OF THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, following a competitive process in July, 1999, DMG-MAXIMUS was retained by
the Town to conduct a management study of the police department; and
WHEREAS, a project team worked with the Leesburg Police Department and the Town from
August, 1999, through the development of the final report in March, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the project team conducted extensive interviews within the Police Department, the
Town's management team, representatives of the Sheriff's Office and former members of the Police
Department: and
WHEREAS, this management study comprehensively covers the staffing, operations,
organization and policies of the Department:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Management Study of Police Department is hereby acknowledged and received from DMG
Maximus of Massachusetts.
PASSED this 14th day of March ,2000.
