A RESOLUTION: APPOINTING MARK HERRING JOAN ROKUS AND TO THE BALCH LIBRARY
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, two vacancies exist on the Thomas Balch Library Commission; and
WHEREAS, Mark Herring, Supervisor for the Leesburg District, has expressed a desire to be named
to the Balch Library Advisory Commission:
WHEREAS, the Library Commission has a vacancy for the position to be filled from the Loudoun
Board of Supervisors: and
WHEREAS, former Board of Supervisors member Joan Rokus served on this Commission as a
member of the Board of Supervisors and has expressed a desire to continue serving on the Balch Library
Advisory Commission:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Mark Herring is appointed to the Balch Library Advisory Commission to fill the position to be filled
by a member of the Loudoun Board of Supervisors, which term expires with his term as a supervisor, and Joan
Rokus is appointed to the Balch Library Advisory Commission to fill the unexpired term of John Tolbert Jr.,
which term expires June 30, 2000, and
PASSED this 11t~ day of April, 2000.
