A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2008-2009 FISCAL YEAR
ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2009
Whereas the Code of Iowa, Chapter 312, Section 14 requires the submission of this report
by September 30, 2009. In accordance with Section 312.15, the Iowa Department of
Transportation must certify to the State Treasurer each city not 'complying with this section
of the Code, and once notified, the State Treasurer will withhold funds allocated to the city
until the city complies.
Whereas this report provides the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Federal
Highway Administration with a documented record of street receipts and'expenditures for
cities.
Whereby on the 30th day of September 2009, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Gericke introduced A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING
AND APPROVING THE 2008-2009, FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL
REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY
SEPTEMBER 30, 2009, and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Bartels. ,
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen
Nays: None
Absent: One Vacancy.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE 2008-2009 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL
REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY
'SEPTEMBER 30, 2009, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
PASSED, by the City Council of Tiffin on the 30th day of September 2009, and approved
"by the Mayor on the 30th day of September 2009.
