Dear Louise and Michael:
10-85 Walnut Owner,LLC('Owner")is pleased to submit this letter describing changes made
to the plans for the redevelopment of 85 Walnut Street(the"Project")in response to feedback
received during Owner's presentation to the Zoning Board of Appeals on Decernher'19,9..019
(the "December Healing"). Revisions to the Project's control plans reflecting these changes
are attached as Exhibit A, while a draft of the present-ition materials prepared for the
upcoming Zoning Board of Appeals hearing on March 25,2020 is attached as Exhibit B.
In response to feedback from the community and members of the Zoning Board of Appeals
at the December Hearing, Owner has permanently removed parking spaces from the
previously proposed shadow parking area to augment the landscape buffer in front of the
proposed parking garage. This will allow for pla-ating of additional trees and other landscape
elements to create a more pronounced green space at this portion of the parking garage,
enhancing the buffeting of the garage from Birch Road. These changes are reflected on PDF
pages 4-10 of this document-tith the revised area on each plan being outlined. In addition,
Owner has increased the number of green screens afFixed along the North and West elevations
of the parking garage,further improving buffering of the structured garage From Walnut Street
and Birch Road.These changes are reflected on PDF page 9 of this document-with the revised
area on each plan being outlined.All changes are reflected throughout Exhibit B.
