A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE APPEAL OF MR. SAEIDI REGARDING THE FLOWER
AND GARDEN SHOW AND DIRECTING STAFF TO REPORT BACK TO
COUNCIL REGARDING FUTURE POLICIES FOR THIS EVENT
WHEREAS, Mr. Saeidi has expressed a desire to participate in the Flower and
Garden Show, and has requested relief from the event roles; and
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
that Mr. Saeidi's request for relief is hereby approved, that he may have an 8 x 10-foot
booth at no charge; and
FURTHER, that staff report back to Council explaining event policies and making
suggestions for future years, so that no merchant or restaurant will have to pay to have a
booth.
PASSED this 25th day of April 2000.
