Call To Order
The Plumbing Board of Review& Examiners met September 14, 2016, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Richard
Hunt at 4:10 p.m. A quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes for the June 9, 2016 Meeting
A motion was made by Gary Michel and seconded by David Wright to approve the minutes of
the June 9, 2016 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
Topics to Discuss
a. Submit Applicants Requiring Journeyman & Master business Licenses
• Justin Kliethermes was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing Examination.
• Royce Martin Jr. was approved by the Plumbing Board to get a City of Jefferson
Journeyman Plumbing License.
• Raymond Maupin Jr. was approved by the Plumbing Board to get a City of Jefferson
Master Plumbing License.
• Shawn Sexton was approved by the Plumbing Board to get a City of Jefferson
Journeyman Plumbing License.
• Joseph D. McFerron was approved to take the Journeyman Plumbing Examination.
• Kyle Gunnels applied to take the Journeyman test but the Plumbing Board needed proof
of hours of Plumbing experience. Once proof of hours have been submitted, the Board
will accept his application.
b. Review of Changes from 2009 to 2015 Code
The Board reviewed the changes between the 2009 IPC Codes and the 2015 IPC
Codes, but requested three amendments. See attached changes and amendments.
