PRESENTED JUNE 27, 2000
2000-119 ADOPTED JUNE 27. 2000
AUTHORIZING MONDAY, JULY 3, 2000 AS A PAID
HOLIDAY FOR TOWN EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, Article 15 - Holidays, of the adopted Town of Leesburg Personnel
Manual does not include Monday, July 3, 2000 as an observed paid holiday for all town
employees; and
WHEREAS, Governor Gilmore has declared Monday, July 3, 2000 as a paid
holiday for state employees; and
WHEREAS, the County of Loudoun has also declared Monday, July 3, 2000 as a
paid holiday for county employees.
THEREFORE, RESOLOVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized to administratively implement the
observation of Monday, July 3, 2000, as a paid holiday for all town employees.
PASSED this 27th day of June, 2000.
