AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT TO ENVIRO SYSTEMS
FURNITURE, INC. (ESRI) IN THE AMOUNT OF $58,431.78 FOR
THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF MODULAR SYSTEM
FURNITURE ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE TOWN OFFICE
BUILDING
WHEREAS, on May 12, 2000, four (4) sealed bids were received for the purchase and
installation of modular office furniture; and
WHEREAS, the summary of the bids received is as follows:

WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated in accordance with the town Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, ESRI is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for this purchase; and
WHEREAS, funds have not been budgeted for this purchase and a supplemental
appropriation must be authorized from the 1999/2000 general fund reserves; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Purchasing Officer recommends award of a purchase contract in
the amount of $58,431.78 to ESRI for the purchase, delivery and installation of the specified
furniture.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:

A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR MODULAR OFFICE FURNITURE
SECTION I: Funds are hereby appropriated from the 1999/2000 general fund
unreserved fund balance in the amount of $58,432 for the purchase of modular furniture for the
first floor of the town office building.
SECTION II: The Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract with ESRI for the
purchase of modular office furniture based on the bid submitted May 12, 2000 in the amount of
$58,431.78.
