RESOLUTION: 2000-128 ADOPTED June 27, 2000
A RESOLUTION: APPOINTING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMISSION
MEMBERS
WHEREAS, seven vacancies exist on the Information Technology Commission; and
WHEREAS, Michael Rogers, James Russell, Robert Raybold, Ichiro Hoshiyanna, and
Richard Adamson were named to the Commission in January, 2000 when the Commission was
established.
WHEREAS, an advertisement of two vacancies on the Information Technology
Commission was placed in the Leesburg Today on February 2 and February 9, 2000.
WHEREAS, at the request of the Town Council on March 13, 2000 the letters of interest
were forwarded to the Information Technology Commission for their review and
recommendation.
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Commission met on April 5, 2000 and
recommended Doug Chaplow and Alex Folgeson to fill the two vacancies.
WHEREAS, this recommendation was forwarded to Town Council on May 22, 2000.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. Michael Rogers, James Russell, and Richard Adamson are appointed to
the Information Technology Commission for a four-year term to expire June 30, 2004. Ichiro
. Hoshiyama and Robert Raybold are appointed for a two-year term to expire on June 30, 2002.
These appointments are retroactive to January, 2000.
RESOLUTION: APPOINTING IT COMMISSION MEMBERS
SECTION Il. Doug ChaplOw and Alex Folgeson are appointed to the Information
Technology Commission for a two-year term to expire June 30, 2002 effective June 13, 2000.
PASSED this 27ta day of June, 2000.
