AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2010 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2010 on September 28th, 2010 with Ordinance 40-2010; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2010 budget be amended as follows:
A. Motor Vehicle Highway
Delete $30,000.00 from Other Contractual Services
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.3990
Add $18,532.00 to Salaries and Wages
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.1196
Add $798.00 to P.E.R.F.
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.1230
Add $10,670.00 to Insurance Provision
Account number 218.18.180.180.000.1240
Passed and adopted this _15th _ day of _March 2010, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
