WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COT -VON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND Board of Works Electric Current -Street Lights $25,000. $25,000. 1-1-9-2-0-2520 Repair of Equipment 500. 500. 1-1-9-2-0-2660 Tree -Stump Removal 4,000. 4,000. 1-1-9-3-0-3210 Gasoline 1,200. 1,200. 1-1-9-3-0-3630 Other Office Supplies 50. 50. 1-1-9-3-0-3700 Other Supplies 7,000. 7,000. 1-1-9-5-0-5110 Hospital Insurance 40,000. 40,000. 1-1-9-6-0-6400 'axes 70. 70. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board, upon receipt, will hold a further hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor's Office of said County, or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing taxpayers objecting to any of such additional appropriations may be heard. Interested taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing will be held. Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City October S, 1981 > at the hour of 7.30 ap.m, Councilman Mills presided with the following members Pres Messrs. Elstro Williams Ahaus Welch Parker Carter Paust Absent: Han inson > > > The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of September 24 and October 1 Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 5LITday of October 1981 9 by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. 67-1981 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Ahaus moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Welch , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 67-1981 President Mills announced Ordinance #67-1981 is on public hearing.
