AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT TO TED BRITT FORD 1N
THE AMOUNT OF $31,149.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2000
FORD, F-350, PICKUP TRUCK
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2000, three (3) bids were received for the purchase and delivery
of a 1 ton, 4 X 4 pickup truck; and
WHEREAS, the summary of the bids received is as follows:

WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated in accordance with the town Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, Ted Britt Ford is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for this
purchase; and
WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted for this purchase in the FY01 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director recommends award of a purchase contract in the
amount of $31,149.00 for the purchase and delivery of a 2000 Ford F-350, Crew Cab, 4 x
4 Pickup track as specified in the Request for Quotations.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a purchase contract with Ted Britt Ford for the
purchase of a 2000 Ford 350, Crew Cab, 4 x 4 pickup truck based on the bids submitted on June
15, 2000 in the amount of $31,149.00.
