AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SPECIAL ORDINANCE NO. 68-1980, WHICH AUTHORIZED A
DEVELOPMENT UNIT PROJECT IN THE 3800 BLOCK OF WOODSIDE DRIVE IN A C-2
CC{+IERCIAL ZONE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE APPROVED DEVELOPMENT
UNIT PROJECT SITE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana has adopted
Special Use Ordinance No. 68-1980, which authorized a Develop-
ment Unit Project in a C-2 Commercial District located in the
3800 Block of Woodside Drive; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to amend the Special Use
Development Unit Project site plan, which was approved and
adopted as a part of Special Use Ordinance No. 68-1980, to
authorize the elimination of all but one (1) curb cut along
Woodside Drive and the altering of the final grading plan,
all as shown and identified in Exhibit "A' of this Ordinance;
and,
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City
Plan Commission the 22nd day of September 1981, at which time
remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or
affected by this Ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was six (6) to
zero (0) in favor of recommending the passage of Ordinance No.
72-1981.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Rich-
mond, Indiana as follows:
SECTION 1. That the site plan accompanying the petition requesting the
Special Use amendment shall be marked Exhibit "A" and made a
part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. That Special Ordinance No. 68-1980 is hereby amended to
authorize the elimination of all but one (1) curb cut along
Woodside Drive and to authorize the alteration of the final
grading plan all as shown and identified on Exhibit "A" of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
this day of 1981.

Dear Mr. Mills, Members of Common Council & Mrs. Trimble:
The Richmond City Plan Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday,
September 22, 1981, on the petition of AIM Investments; Willard Bowen,
Agent, requesting to amend Special Ordinance No. 68-1980 which
authorized a Residential Development Unit Project in the 3800 block
of Woodside Drive. The requested amendment seeks to modify the site
plan approved and adopted as a part of Ordinance No. 68-1980 by
eliminating all but one curb cut along Woodside Drive and by alter-
ing the final grading plan of the project.
Nine (9) notices of public hearing were sent to adjacent properties
with none returned. During the public hearing, no one spoke in opposi-
tion to or in favor of the petition.
The Plan Commission considered the following in making their determina-
tion:
1. The proposed site plan meets the requirements and
standards stipulated by the Zoning Ordinance for
a Residential Development Unit Project.
2. The approved site drainage plan of the project has
not been altered by the proposed modification.
3. The modification proposed improves the design of
the project.
Therefore, the Plan Commission voted six (6) to zero (0) to recommend
Ordinance No. 72-1981 be approved.
