WATER AND SEWER
EXTENSION PERMITS FOR RIVER CREEK PHASE VII, SECTION 2
(LANDBAY Q) & RIVER CREEK GOLF COURSE, SANITARY
SEWER CROSSING, FAIRWAYS 11 AND 12
WHEREAS, River Creek, L.L.C., the developer of River Creek Phase VII, Section 2
(Landbay Q) & River Creek Golf Course, Sanitary Sewer Crossing, Fairways 11 and 12 has
requested approval of corporate surety bonds from the Fidelity and Deposit Company of
Maryland in the amount of $125,100.00 and $92,400.00 to guarantee the public improvements in
River Creek Phase VII, Section 2 (Landbay Q) & River Creek Golf Course, Sanitary Sewer
Crossing, Fairways 11 and 12; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends approval of a
contract for installation of public improvements and acceptance of performance guarantees for
River Creek Phase VII, Section 2 (Landbay Q) & River Creek Golf Course, Sanitary Sewer
Crossing, Fairways 11 and 12.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The manager shall execute the contracts for public improvements for the
improvements shown on the plans approved by the Director of Engineering and Public Works for
River Creek Phase VII, Section 2 (Landbay Q) & River Creek Golf Course, Sanitary Sewer
Crossing, Fairways 11 and 12.

SECTION II. The extension of municipal water and sewer for River Creek Phase VII,
Section 2 (Landbay Q) & River Creek Golf Course, Sanitary Sewer Crossing, Fairways 11 and
12 is approved in accordance with Section 15-9 and 19-18 of the Town Code.
SECTION III. The corporate surety bonds in a form approved by the town attorney from
the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland in the amount of $125,100.00 and $92,400.00 are
approved as security to guarantee installation of the public improvements shown on plans
approved by the Director of Engineering and Public Works for River Creek Phase VII, Section 2
(Landbay Q) & River Creek Golf Course, Sanitary Sewer Crossing, Fairways 11 and 12.
