HomeMy Public PortalAbout081-1981 - Appropriation - Cash Operating FundAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 81-1981 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional stuns of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND Board of Public Works 1-1-9-7-0-7260 Other Equipment $1,519. $1,519. TOTAL $1,519. $1,519. SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following additional suns of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the fund herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. EXCERPTS OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the Council. Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City November 16, 1981 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. ' Councilman Mills presided with the following members present: Messrs. Elstro Williams Ahaus Hankinson Welch ar er Carter Faust' Absent: None — The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in tj�l C1i8v1 of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of Nov. 4 and Nov. 11lo Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the LoL11day of Nov. 1981 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No. 81-1981 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Welch moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Paust , and on voice vote the motion was carried.
