to Downtown Leesburg on April 21 & 22, 2012
Leesburg, VA (April 12, 2012) – Historic
Downtown Leesburg will once again be in
full bloom as lush landscapes and
gorgeous gardens fill the streets. On April
21st and 22nd, over 150 vendors will be on
display, featuring landscape designs,
gardening supplies, outdoor living items,
plants, flowers, herbs and so much more!
Stroll through the streets and take in the
sights and sounds of spring-time.
Whether gathering ideas for your new
outdoor patio, stocking up on gardening
supplies, or searching for a perfect gift for
the avid gardener in your life, this event
has something for everyone! Event hours are 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on
Sunday.
For a taste of Loudoun County’s agricultural bounty, visit the newly expanded Wine Garden
located on Town Green. This new tasting area will feature some of Loudoun County’s best
wineries and breweries. Take home a commemorative glass and bottle of your favorite vino to
enjoy after the festival concludes. Breweries to be featured include Dog Fish Head, Vintage 50,
Port City Brewing and Mad Fox.
Another addition to the festival is the expansion to Cornwall Street. Picturesque West Cornwall
Street’s beautiful gardens, historic church and mature landscaping combine to make it the new
“star street” of the festival. Home to 25 additional vendors as well as the popular children’s
entertainment area, Cornwall is sure to be a happening street this year.
As always, a huge variety of food, music, children’s entertainment and crafts will be on
hand for this two-day event. Hourly entertainment on the Children’s Stage will keep youngsters
enthralled while moving and grooving to the sounds of Uncle Pete’s “Up with Kids.” Kids will

love getting up close and personal with some awesome animals during the “Animal
Ambassadors” program. Both days will be filled with interactive, live entertainment just for our
youngsters. The fun continues with crafts, face painting, and other activities. The new location
of the children’s area on Cornwall Street is sure to be one of the most popular spots of the
festival.
Enjoy the sounds of local and regional bands on our Main Stage, located at the Loudoun County
Courthouse. From relaxing reggae tunes to the classic rock favorites, the Main Stage is the
perfect place to take in the awesome atmosphere of this festival of flowers and fun! Loudoun
locals Andy Hawk and Gary Smallwood will take the stage this year to show our guests a rockin’
good time. Also returning are the sounds of Rob Byer and the Chris Polk Band.
