APPROVING AN ANNUAL UNIFORM CLEANING CONTRACT TO
TOLLHOUSE CLEANERS AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF $30,000
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, verbal unit price quotations were requested for uniform cleaning services for
the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the results of the quotations from three vendors are listed below;

Cleaners Cleaners Cleaners
Shirt $3.50 $3.50 $2.77
Pants $3.50 $3.50 $2.77
Jacket $4.60 $4.95 $4.65
Tie $2.85 $2.85 $2.10

Polo Shirt $3.85 $3.95 $3.95
Total $22.15 $22.70 $19.01
WHEREAS, the annual contract expenses are estimated to be $30,000; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that a contract be issued to Toll House Cleaners, the
lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
THEREFORE RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
town manager is authorized to execute a contract for uniform cleaning services to Toll House
Cleaning for the period of July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001 at the unit prices indicated
above on behalf of the Town of Leesburg.
