AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF THE HERITAGE
HIGH SCHOOL SITE TO THE LOUDOUN COUNTY SCHOOL
BOARD
WHEREAS, in April 1999, the Town acquired by Deed about 78 acres of land
along Evergreen Mill Road then in Loudoun; and
WHEREAS, in September 1999, the land was divided into two parcels, one being
approximately 52 acres for the future Heritage High School and the other for a park area;
and
WI-IEREAS, recently, the Court approved a boundary line adjustment bringing the
land into the Town; and
WHEREAS, in order for the high school to be constructed, the land must be
deeded to the School Board.
THEiREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
that the Mayor is authorized to sign a deed in substantially the form of the attached draft,
conveying the Heritage High School site to the Loudoun County School Board.
