RESOLUTION NO. 2000-178 ADOPTED September 12, 2000
A RESOLUTION: RESCHEDULING THE OCTOBER 23, 2000 AND OCTOBER 24, 2000
COUNCIL MEETINGS TO OCTOBER 30, 2000 AND OCTOBER 31, 2000
WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Leesburg meets in formal session at 7:30 p.m. on the
second and fourth Tuesday of each month and sits as a "committee of the whole" at 7:00 p.m. on the Monday
preceding the regular council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Council Work Session of October 9, 2000 was rescheduled to Monday, October 16m
and the Council Meeting of October 10m was rescheduled to Tuesday, October 17t~ to eliminate a conflict
with Columbus Day by Resolution No. 2000-35; and
WHEREAS, this matter was discussed at the September 11, 2000 Council Work Session; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council recommends rescheduling the October 23, 2000 meeting to October
30 at 7:00 p.m. and the October 24, 2000 meeting to October 31, 2000 at 9:00 a,m.,to allow sufficient
time for agenda preparation for the second meeting of October.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Council Work Session of October 23, 2000 will be rescheduled to October 30, 2000 at
7:00 p.m. and the Council Meeting of October 24, 2000 will rescheduled to October 31, 2000 at 9: 00. a
PASSED this 12th day of September, 2000.
