COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Meeting Minutes
October 24, 2007
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM. Members present were; Paul Hush,
Elizabeth Taylor, Jeanne Boehm, Roland Bassett Jr., Paul Ruchinskas, Michael Lach and Roy Robinson.
Member missing was William Reyburn
1. MOTION by Roland Bassett Jr., to accept the Minutes of September 26, 2007 as corrected.
Second by Paul Hush.
VOTE: 6-0-0
MOTION by Roland Bassett Jr., to accept the Minutes of October 10, 2007 as corrected.
Second by Paul Hush
VOTE: 6-0-0
2. MOTION by Roland Bassett Jr., to ratify the VOTE of October 10, 2007 request $69,680.00 for
purchase of Map 49 Lot 29 (CRYSTALOSKI).
Second by Paul Hush.
VOTE: 6-0-0
3. Council on Aging
COA window replacement lowers the total project cost to $112,000. The pro-rated CPC participation
will be reduced to $68,000.
4. Open Space
Stanahan Property; 1) still not established if State Aid is for or against. 2) Elizabeth will do
PowerPoint presentation for Town Meeting. 3) if State Aid does not come through this is still a
worthwhile project to be considered. Leave the Article as is.
5. Housing Forum
Sent to the Cape Codder, on the Town Website, all Boards and Department will be contacted.
Meeting on October 30th at 7:OOPM.
6. Other Business
A) Website is not up to date regarding application deadlines. Elizabeth will change these.
Fall deadline -July 1~t, Spring deadline- December lit. for guarantee to be on warrant.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
MOTION by Michael Lach, to set deadline for applications of December 1, 2007 for Spring Town
Meeting.

B) Rollie suggest that once a year a financial worksheet as to how much in each section.
C) Habitat for Humanity has been progressing. There was awell-attended wall-raising dedication
ceremony last weekend. Community Preservation was included on the
sign.
