A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE TREE COMMISSION
WHEREAS, new appointments to the Tree Commission were adopted September 12, 2000.
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists due to the resignation of Kathleen B. Pritchard on September
14, 2000.
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure
on these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follow:
John Groothuis is appointed to the Tree Commission to fill the unexpired term
vacated by Kathleen B. Pritchard, the term for this appointment will expire on June 30, 2001.
PASSED this 26th day of September, 2000.
