Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in @hair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members present The Clerk gave the following results of the $197,000. bond issue. Results - Votes Yes - 100; Votes No - 84: Total votes cast - 184. Moved by Arthur Theis to adopt the report of the election. Seconded by Robert Franklin Motion carried Robert Ehlers of Ehlers and Associates presented the Resolution with regard to bonding. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to adopt.Resolution 03-13 to issue and sell P200,000 municipal building bonds of 1973 on August 7, 1973 at 8:00 P. M. at the Village Hall. Seconded by Robert Frsnlin Motion carried Moved by Thomas Stevens to set the date of June 26, 1973 at 7:30 as a meeting to interview architects. S=conded by Arthur Theis Motion carried Moved by Arthur'to grant a beer license to Robert McCreap, Sec. of the Hennepin County Humane Society without charge for the days of June 22, 23 and 24, 1973. Seconded by Robert Franklin Motion carried se er Discussed the 125f/rae for business. A new ordinance to be drawn up set all rates as they are now billed, same as residence. Bergstrom sewer. W. Mills reported bad. The Village Council of the Village of Medina finds, upon inspection by the village engineer, that real estate owned by Ralph W. Bergstrom, Jr, and legally described as Plat 60280, Parcels 0095, 0105 and 0130; and as Lot 4 and that part of Beach lying between North and south lines of said Lot 4 extended to Lake Independence; Lot 5 and that part of Beach lying between north and south lines of said Lot 5 extended to Lake Independence; That part lying northerly of the south 54 feet of Lot 6 and of Tract designated as Beach lying between the northerly line of Lot 6 and northerly line of southerly 54 feet of Lot 6 thereof extended to Lpke Independence; All of the above in Block 1 Independence Beach, Village of Medina, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota; a private sewage disposal system which discharges effluent upon the ground in violation of Section 3:07 of the Medina Sewer Code. Motion by Donald Des Lauriers; Seconded by Robert Franklin, that the property owner be ordered to correct the defective by July 20, 1973. Motion carried. Mr. Davis to come in to July meeting with regard to his sewer problem. Moved by Robert Franklin to donate $300.00 to the Hamel Athletic Assocation. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. 133. Merrill Buranen appeared with regard to moving in an addition to his home. Moved by Robert Franklin to grant Merrill Buranen permission to move in an 15 x 16 addition to his house in Independence Bench, subject to approval of the building inspector and to meeting all requirements and permission from Leo Leuer to over the roads. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Nancy Laurant presented a complaint regarding to parking on Hamel Road. Moved by Robert Franklin to erect "No Parking" signs on the north side of Hamel Road from the Fidel Theis property to Pinto Drive. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. James Lane presented a it= letter he had written to the Hennepin County about roads and projected plans. Discussed the delinquent fire calls. Moved by Robert Franklin to candel the John Duchscherer of Karlsrude, North Dakota, car fire of Jtl.y 1968. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to take off of the records the fire on a truck at Arnold Knopps on itelatemisix May 197G as he mid the next day with no forwarding address. Seconded by Robert Franklin Motion carried. Moved by Robert Franklin to send a letter to the Metropolitan Council with regard to the sewer condition in the Medina Area. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Letter Dr. H.S.Friedman of St. Louis Park and Dr. Merrill Chesler of Minneapolis, which was published in the Tribune, complementing our Village Police Department for rescue work which Officer LaFond did on the Rolling Green County Club course.
