PRESENTED October 31, 2000

MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, new appointments to the Economic Development Commission were adopted
September 12, 2000; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists due to the resignation of Kelly Gower on October 19, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory bodies; and
WHEREAS, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 on July 24, 2000 establishing a procedure
concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Susan B. Home is appointed to the Economic Development Commission to fill the unexpired term
vacated by Kelly Gower. The term for this appointment will expire on June 30, 2004.
