Leesburg Tree Commission to Celebrate Arbor Day with Tree
Planting at Harper Park Middle School
Leesburg, VA (April 23, 2012) – On Friday, April 27, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., members of the
Leesburg Tree Commission will commemorate Arbor Day with a tree planting ceremony at
Harper Park Middle School.
The Tree Commission will be joined by members of the Harper Park Ecology Club, sponsored by
life sciences teacher Helen DeGroot. During the ceremony, the Tree Commission will plant one
tree and the Harper Park Ecology Club will plant a second tree.
