A RESOLUTION:

2001-11 ADOPTED January 23, 2001
APPROVING THE AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2001 BUDGET, AND MAKING
APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2001.
WHEREAS, the mid-year budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001, has been presented and
reviewed by this Council in accordance with Section 15.2-2507 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed budget amendments was held on January 9, 2001 and
remained open until January 23, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the town staff has reviewed department requests and recommends that the Town
Council adopt the Town Manager's proposed mid-year budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The town manager's proposed mid-year budget as amended by Council for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001, is adopted and appropriations are made to include
the adjusted totals to the categories and accounts of the General Fund in the amount of $ 661,500 and the
Utility Fund in the amount of $957,960.
SECTION II. The town manager is authorized to transfer appropriations made herein to accounts
within the same departmental budget as long as the total appropriation for the department is not adjusted.
