A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING TIME EXTENSIONS FOR COMPLETION OF
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING PERFORMANCE
GUARANTEES FOR SYCAMORE HILL PHASE I, SECTIONS 1, 2, &
3; PHASE IT, SECTIONS 1 & 2; PHASE I STORMWATER
MANAGEMENT POND; AND THE RECREATION CENTER
WHEREAS, BRE/Sycamore L.L.c., the developer of Sycamore Hill Phase I, Sections 1,
2, & 3; Phase II, Sections 1 & 2; Phase I Stormwater Management Pond; and the Recreation
Center, has not completed all the required public improvements in accordance with the approved
construction drawings and town standards within the two-year period agreed to in the contract
for public improvements and previously approved time extensions; and
WHEREAS, the developer has requested a time extension to complete the public

improvements; and
WHEREAS, cash bonds in the following amounts were provided by the developer to
guarantee the installation of public improvements

WHEREAS, the town's Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends a time
extension to May 1, 2001 for completion of the public improvements in Sycamore Hill Phase I,
Sections 1, 2, & 3; Phase II, Sections 1 & 2; Phase I Stormwater Management Pond; and the

THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The cash bonds in the amounts listed above are approved to guarantee the
installation of public improvements in Sycamore Hill Phase I, Sections 1, 2, & 3; Phase II,
Sections 1 & 2; Phase I Stormwater Management Pond; and the Recreation Center.
SECTION II. A time extension to May 1, 2001 for completion of the public
improvements in Sycamore Hill Phase I, Sections 1, 2, & 3; Phase II, Sections 1 & 2; Phase I
Stormwater Management Pond; and the Recreation Center is approved.
PASSED this 13th day of March 2001.
