A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A CONTRACT TO THE TYREE ORGANIZATION IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,967,284.13 FOR THE NORTH AREA
DEVELOPMENT - PHASE IT AT THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE
AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Invitation for Bid was issued for the north Area Development - Phase IT at
the Leesburg Executive Airport; and
WHEREAS, four bidders responded as shown below:

WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated in accordance with the town Purchasing Policy; and
WHEREAS, Tyree Organization was apparent low bidder; and
WHEREAS, funds are included in the current year CIP; and
WHEREAS, the true cost to the Town of Leesburg is $1,133,821.47 including State
Grant in the amount of $ 833,462.66; and
WHEREAS, the references of the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for this purchase
are acceptable; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director and Airport Commission recommend award of a
purchase contract in the amount of $1,967,284.13 to Tyree Organization, for the North Area
Development - Phase IT of the Leesburg airport as specified in the Invitation for Bid.

A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO THE TYREE ORGANIZATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,967,284.13 FOR THE NORTH AREA DEVELOPMENT-
PHASE II AT THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for the North Area
Development - Phase II to Tyree Organization, Inc. in the amount of $1,967,284.13, in a
form acceptable to the Town Attorney.
PASSED this 27th day of March, 2001.
