'~ trglnla PRESENTED March 27.2001 RESOLUTION NO. 200l-44 ADOPTED March 27. 2001 RESOLUTION: URGING THE LOUDOUN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO ADOPT THE FINDINGS OF THE FACILITIES AND OFFICE SPACE TASK FORCE WHEREAS, on July 10, 2000 the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors empanelled a citizen committee known as the Facilities and Office Space Task Force to review and make recommendations on general office space needs of the county; and WHEREAS, the Leesburg Town Council was represented on the Task Force by Councilman George F. Atwell; and WHEREAS, the Task Force toured county and school facilities, received briefings on current and projected space demand, developed potential service configurations, and reviewed various financial alternatives; and ',--- WHEREAS, Loudoun County has committed to keeping a core of the central government in downtown Leesburg; and WHEREAS, the Task Force's deliberations produced eight findings regarding county and school office and support space in a report dated March 5, 2001. THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is hereby urged to adopt the findings of the Facilities and Office Space Task Force, dated March 5, 2001.
