RESOLUTION NO. 2001-56 ADOPTED APRIL 24, 2001
A RESOLUTION: RECEIVING TIlE FINAL DRAFT OF TIlE HENDRICKS AND
ASSOCIATES PAY AND CLASSIFICATION STUDY
WHEREAS, the Town Council authorized the Town Manager to enter into an
agreement with Hendricks and Associates to perform a comprehensive pay and
classification study, and to recommend a performance evaluation process; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Charles Hendricks has completed his final draft of the study and
recommendation of a performance evaluation process; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hendricks based his analysis on surveys and meetings with town
employees as well as surveys of public and private employers; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Personnel recommends the Town Council receive the
study and refer the document to the staff for further review.
WHEREAS, the Town Manager will establish an appeals process with Mr.
Hendricks and employees; and
WHEREAS, the final pay and classification plan will be presented to the Town
Council for consideration.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
Section I. The Town Council hereby receives the final draft of the Hendricks and
Associates Pay and Classification Study and refers the document to town staff for review
and comment.
