RESOLUTION NO 2001-69 ADOPTED May 22, 2001
A RESOLUTION: AMENDING POSITIONS AND NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES IN THE
TOWN'S SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works and the Director of Utilities
have recognized the need for an Inspector Supervisor due to the inspection and approval process for
developer installed public improvements including waterlines, sanitary sewers, storm drain, roads
and sidewalks; and
WHEREAS, an Inspection Supervisor is needed to set standard practices and to increase
and improve communications, training, coordination and inspection records; and
WHEREAS, reclassifying a current Construction Inspector position to an Inspector
Supervisor changes the title, but does not change the number of employees in the town's service.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The positions and number of employees in the town service for the fiscal year
2001 are amended as follows:
