REVISING THE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the inspection and approval process for developer installed public
improvements including waterlines, sanitary services, storm drainage, roads and sidewalks needs to
be improved; and
WHEREAS, an Inspection Supervisor is needed to set standard practices and to increase
and improve communications, training, coordination and inspection records;
WHEREAS, reclassifying a current Construction Inspector position to a Grade 12,
'Inspection Supervisor is recommended by the Director of Engineering and Public Works and
Director of Personnel.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The Pay and Classification Plan is amended to read as follows:
Employees in the town service are classified in the following occupational groups and pay
grades:
EXECUTIVE- Director of Engineering & Public Works 16
