A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE THOMAS BALCH LIBRARY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the term of Councilmember Zoldos' sponsored member on the Thomas Balch
Library Commission will expire on June 30, 2001; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Zoldos' sponsored member on the Thomas Balch Library
Commission has expressed an interest in being reappointed; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Zoldos has recommended reappointment of his sponsored member
of Thomas Balch Library Commission; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
James H. Hershmann, Jr. is reappointed to the Thomas Balch Library Commission for a term to
expire June 30, 2002.
