A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the term of Councilmember Zoldos' sponsored member on the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Commission will expire on June 30, 2001; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Zoldos' sponsored member on the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Commission has expressed an interest in being reappointed; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Zoldos has recommended reappointment of his sponsored member
of Parks and Recreational Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
James L. Timbers is reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission for a term to
expire June 30, 2002.
