A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the term of Councilman George Atwell' s sponsored member on the Parks and
Recreation Advisory Commission will expire on June 30, 2001; and
WHEREAS, Councilman Atwell's sponsored member on the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Commission has expressed an interest in being reappointed; and
WHEREAS, Councilman Atwell has recommended reappointment of his sponsored member on
the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Jane Fellows is reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission for a term to
expire June 30, 2002.
