HomeMy Public PortalAbout2001_06_26_r111 Amending the Pay and Classification Plan and Implementing Hendricks StudyThe Town of .I .eesburg, rg ma REVISED September 5, 2001 PRESENTED June 26, 2001 RESOLUTION NO. 2001-111 ADOPTED June 26, 2001 A RESOLUTION: AMENDING THE PAY AND CLASSICATION PLAN AND IMPLEMENTING THE HENDRICKS AND ASSOCIATES STUDY WHEREAS, the town contracted with the fm-n of Hendricks and Associates to perform a pay and classification study; and WHEREAS, the Town Council voted on April 23, 2001 to receive the final draft of the study and refer it to staff to conduct an appeal process and devise an implementation plan; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hendricks' appeals reviews resulted in adjustments to his original recommendations; and WHEREAS, to be competitive with comparable local governments and private sector firms in Northern Virginia, the pay grades, rifles, and responsibilities should be revised; and WHEREAS, staff recommends these revisions. THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia to amend the Pay and Classification Plan and implement the Hendricks Study as follows: SECTION I.
