RESOLUTION FOR ANAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE
US HIGHWAY 6 EMPROVEMENTS PROJECT — TIFFIN, IOWA
CONTRACTOR — STREB CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
WHEREAS, On November 4, 2009, the Project Engineer states the Project
construction was completed in general accordance with the,approved Plans and
Specifications on file with the City of Tiffin, Iowa and recommends under the provisions
of the Contract Documents, that the work be accepted and that final payment be made to
the Contractor with the exception of $30,000 to be retained by the City until Final
Acceptance by the Iowa Department of Transportation is received.
WHEREAS, That the US Highway 6 Improvements Project is complete and
acceptable to the City bf Tiffin, that the work be accepted and that final payment be made
to the Contractor with the exception of $30,000 to be retained by the City until Final
Acceptance by the Iowa Department of Transportation is received.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
US Highway 6 Improvements Project is complete and acceptable to the City and final payment be
made to the Contractor, Streb Construction Co., Inc. with the exception of $30,000 to be
retained by the City until Final Acceptance by the Iowa Department of Transportation is
received. I
