RESOLUTION NO. 2001-115 ADOPTED June 26, 2001
A RESOLUTION: AMENDING RESOLUTIONS 91-172, 92-21 AND 98-117 RELATING
TO WATER CONNECTION PRORATA FEES FOR ANNEXED HOMES

WHEREAS, the Town desires to eliminate water connection prorata fees where the lot
was created and a single-family detached dwelling existed thereon prior to the property being
brought into the town by the 1984 annexation and the well is failing.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
Resolutions 91-172, 92-21 and 98-117 are amended to provide that lots, on which
single-family detached dwellings existed prior to the properties being brought into the town by
the 1984 annexation and which now have wells determined by the Town Manager after
consultation with the Virginia Department of Health to be failing, are exempt from water
connection prorata fees.
