A RESOLUTION: ENDORSING THE TOWN OF LEESBURG TOURISM PLAN
WHEREAS, The Tourism Coordinator position was created within the Economic
Development Department by the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to increase tax revenues from the tourism industry
sales in Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, The Tourism Coordinator developed a four-year Tourism Plan; and
WHEREAS, The Tourism Plan has been endorsed by the Leesburg Economic
Development Commission; and
WHEREAS, The Tourism Plan was presented to the Town Council on Monday,
July 23,2001;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
hereby endorses the Tourism Plan dated July 17, 2001
PASSED this 14th day of August 2001.
