AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, each year the Town of Leesburg declares surplus equipment and vehicles for disposal;
with the exception of items to be donated to certain
procedures implemented by the Finance Department.
WHEREAS, the town manager is authorized to advertise and sell surplus equipment and vehicles
volunteer organizations in accordance with the
WHEREAS, the Purcellville Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc. has requested the donation of a 1994
Caprice police vehicle which is intended to be declared surplus property for disposal; and
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is authorized to donate this 1994 Caprice Police Car to the Purcellville
Volunteer Rescue Squad once it has been declared surplus property for disposal.
